Gazette Live Blogs the State of the Arts
At 2 p.m. today (July, 21, 2008), gazette.com will host a live blogging event on their site during which The Gazette’s Arts and Diversions editor Warren Epstein will moderate a discussion among Nathan Newbrough, the new executive director of the Colorado Springs Philharmonic, TheatreWorks artistic director Murray Ross, conceptual artist Atomic Elroy and Bettina Swigger, executive director of COPPeR (Cultural Office of the Pikes Peak Region). Other arts community figures may also contribute. The subject will be the State of the Arts in Colorado Springs, as documented by a section in Sunday’s Gazette.
Update: The Gazette’s interface seems to be cropping of the right hand side of everything people type. Atomic Elroy is also hosting the chat on his site and you can read the entire width.
Update (07.21.08 3:05 p.m.): For archival purposes, we’ll just “borrow” their code and insert the conversation here:
